My images were inspired by Teju Cole and his book ' The Blind Spot' - When taking these photos, I kept the lens at 55 mm because when looking around somewhere, that is the distance that is clearly in your vision. Teju's book was photographed when he was suffering with blind spot syndrome so I wanted to consider perspective in the pictures. They were taken in the same place just from different perspectives and positions to show how differently people view the world.

shot the photographs with a 55 mm focal length
I liked having the time constraints because it meant that I was more aware of what to take photographs of, I knew I wanted to have landscapes as my main subject rather then people however if there were people in the picture I didn't want their face to be in it
I found it challenging to narrow down the images that I took but the fact that I had some consistencies while taking the images like the focal point and the subject of the images it made it easier
Continuing with my project, I am going to keep the constraints when taking the images like taking them in a specific location, within a specific amount of time and with a thought about subject matter
I have also found that I much prefer images when they are in black and white, it makes them look clean and organised when put together
When doing this again, I will give myself a longer time period but on specific days
I like the idea of associating images with a film or a song so this is something I will experiment with
I preferred using a digital camera to a phone camera because the images are cleaner, sharper and capture more detail in the photograph
Even though black and white photos are my preferred style, I want to experiment with presets to make my colour photos more improved
